Brisbane Rugby League 1925, Round Nine

The league game was kicked out of the Ekka for the weekend due to the visit of an England football XI. England beat Australia 5-1 thanks mainly to a hat-trick by Ernie Simms, then of Stockport County, and an interesting story.
