QRL Premiership 1921, Challenge Final
Carlton vs Coorparoo
‘Twas a finals series which belonged to, of all people, Carlton super-sub S Kelly. He played one game in 1920 and hadn’t played first-grade at all in 1921 until he was called from the bench in the semi-final against Valleys, making a key contribution to Carlton’s victory. He then came off the bench and did it again in the Grand Final. Bravo!
