Part of 1916 season

This was it for the two Ipswich teams in the BRL, and it would be another 70 years until the Ipswich district team rejoined. Starlights, led by the great Jimmy Craig, were one of the best teams in the entire state during the 1920s, but they’re now long gone. Ipswich West End are still around and a trip to their home up the end of Chermside Road is well worth it.
